Sengwer Culture for Conservation Initiative
From October 2025 to May 2026 the Sengwer Culture for Conservation Initiative (SCCI) will collect indigenous treelets/young seedlings for the Kipteberr and Kapolet forests in Cherangany Hill, Kenia. Sengwer elders will work with the community to establish a nursery to re-plant and restore degraded forests, water springs and riverbanks. Together with traditional dancers the SCCI aims to showcase indigenous knowledge and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the natural environment for present and future generations.
We are working with Yator Kiptum from the Sengwer Indigenous Community Trust (SICT) to support the workshops and provide the necessary tools for establishing the nurseries.

2025 OFKOB Art Residency
From September 21 to October 5, 2025, the 2025 OFKOB Art Residency was hosted in Fumesua, Ghana's Ashanti Region. Twelve participating artists investigated conceptual and material practices through daily interactions, workshops, and site-responsive activities. The last day of the residency was an “Open Day”, a public exhibition showcasing the breadth and depth of the contemporary artistic inquiry that took place.
In collaboration with residency co-ordinator Dr Dorothy Akpene Amenuke we financially supported the particiapation of artists Andrews Siaw Nubuor and Godelive Kabena Kasangati.

Gary Marvin Memorial Hospital
In March 2025 we shipped donated medical equipment to the Gary Marvin Memorial Hospital in Kotwi, Ghana. The equipment included four examination couches for the hospital consulting rooms, an ECG machine, and a wheelchair. These essential items were generously donated by a medical facility in Alkmaar (Huisartsenpost Alkmaar).

We work together with Dr. Frank Frimpong of the Gary Marvin Memorial Hospital who has provided healthcare in Ghana for the past 20 years.
